Nathan was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised in
Plano, Texas. He studied dance and theater while growing up in Texas and graduated from Plano Senior High School. After high school, he attended Oklahoma City University and received his Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Upon graduation, Nathan relocated to New York City.
Nathan has performed on Broadway and regionally across the United States as well as internationally in Slovenia, Italy, and Malaysia. In addition to performing, Nathan has choreographed and consulted for a variety of projects on Broadway and off showcasing an eclectic style and interest in storytelling through movement and dance.
After years of working in theater, television, and film,
Nathan grew interested in photography and has been exploring that medium in an effort to expand creatively.
In April 2016 he received an Editor's Pick award on Minted.com for his photo "underpass light" which is now being sold on that website. Other work can be seen and purchased under the Photography tab on this site.
In 2016, Nathan received the Distinguished Alumni Award for the year from the Ann Lacy School of Dance & Entertainment at his alma mater OCU.
Nathan currently lives on the Upper West Side.
